Questions you might have...
If you have a question that isn't on this page, please reach out, I'm happy to get in touch and help answer anything that comes up for you.
What is life coaching?
Life coaching is a collaborative conversation designed to help you slow down, reflect, gain clarity, and move forward with greater purpose. A coach doesn't give you all the answers or tell you what to do. Instead, I help you explore your own thoughts, perspectives, and possibilities.
How do I know if coaching is right for me?
You don't need to have everything figured out before starting. Coaching can be helpful if you're feeling stuck, navigating a change, questioning what's next, or simply wanting to better understand yourself. A complimentary Discovery Call is a chance for us to explore whether coaching feels like the right fit.
What happens during a coaching session?
Each session is shaped around what feels most important to you that day. We might explore a challenge, unpack a decision, examine a pattern, or simply give you the space to think out loud. I'll ask questions, listen, reflect what I'm hearing, and challenge your thinking when it may be helpful.
Do you give advice?
Not typically. Coaching isn't about me telling you what I think you should do. I may offer an observation or perspective when it feels useful, but the goal is to help you develop your own understanding and make decisions that feel right for you. You are the expert in your own life!
How long are sessions?
Sessions are up to 60 minutes. Some conversations may need the full hour, while others may naturally finish sooner. The goal isn't to fill the hour; it's to use the time in whatever way is most useful to you.
How often do we meet?
That depends on you, your goals, and the package you choose. We'll find a pace that feels manageable and supports the work you're doing.
Do I need to commit to a package?
No. You can book an individual session if you'd prefer. New clients also have the option of starting with the 4-session Starter Package, which is available once per client. Longer-term 6- and 12-session packages are available for those who want ongoing support.
Are our conversations confidential?
Yes. Our conversations are confidential, with the usual professional and legal limitations that apply to coaching relationships. I'll discuss confidentiality and its boundaries with you before we begin.
Where do the sessions take place?
For now, coaching sessions are held virtually through Google Meet, allowing us to connect wherever you are. Sessions are confidential, and you can join from a private space that works for you.
In the future, I plan to offer an in-person option for local clients as well.
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching and therapy can both provide a supportive space for reflection, but they have different purposes. Coaching generally focuses on the present and future, personal growth, goals, and taking intentional action. Therapy is a mental health service that can address mental illness, trauma, and past experiences. Coaching isn't a replacement for therapy or other professional care.
What if I don't know what I want to talk about?
That's okay. You don't need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal or a list of things to work on. Sometimes figuring out what's actually going on is where the coaching conversation begins.
