A bit about me

My path has taken me through many different roles and experiences.

For 20 years, I have worked as a hairstylist, where I have had the privilege of connecting with people through some of life's most personal conversations. While hair is what brings people into the chair, it has always been the human connection that has made the work meaningful for me.

I am also an athlete and have spent many years pursuing challenges that have tested me physically and mentally. Swimming has taught me patience, discipline, perseverance, and the importance of trusting the process…lessons that extend far beyond sport.

In 2016, I experienced a life-changing event when I received a liver transplant. That experience deepened my understanding of uncertainty, resilience, gratitude, and the importance of making the most of the life we have.

Rather than defining me, that experience became one of many things that shaped how I see the world and how I show up for others.

My transplant journey introduced me to a community filled with incredible strength, generosity, and resilience. Through my involvement in the transplant community and my work with Move for Life Foundation, I have been fortunate to witness the power of connection and the impact we can have when we support one another.

The athlete within me

The challenges of sport has taught me patience, perseverance, and trusting the process.

In 2016, when I received a life-saving liver transplant, I gained a new understanding of resilience, gratitude, and making the most of the time we have. Through my transplant journey and my work with the Move for Life Foundation, I’ve experienced firsthand the strength that comes from connection and community.

Swimming was the sport I loved growing up, and became an important part of my life after my transplant, growing from a part of my recovery into a passion and a way of challenging myself and connecting with others. I’ve competed as a Masters swimmer, represented Canada at the World Transplant Games, and taken on ultra-endurance open-water swimming challenges that have pushed me both physically and mentally. Sport has taught me the value of self-awareness, consistency, and trusting the process.  These are perspectives I bring into my coaching, particularly when working with people who are driven to grow and challenge themselves.

Why Coaching?

For many years, I’ve loved the conversations that happen in the salon chair. The haircut can transform your appearance and mood, but it's the connection to the person that creates the real change - a space where people feel comfortable being honest and fully themselves. That has meant the most to me.

Coaching became a natural extension of that passion. I believe we all need spaces where we can slow down, feel heard, and reflect without judgment. My role is to fully listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you gain greater clarity and perspective as you move forward.

Outside of Coaching

When I’m not coaching or doing hair, you’ll usually find me outside, swimming, strength training, spending time with my husband Zach and our dog Louie, connecting with my community, or continuing my work with organ donation and transplant advocacy through the Move for Life Foundation.

I’m always learning, growing, and finding new ways to challenge myself and I try to bring that same curiosity and openness into the way I work with others.

My Approach

I believe meaningful change begins with genuine connection.

In a world that often pulls our attention in a hundred directions, I want to create a space where you can slow down, be present, and speak openly. I listen with curiosity rather than judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and give you space to explore what matters to you.

Whether you’re navigating a challenge, a transition, or simply trying to make sense of what’s next, my goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and supported.

One conversation at a time, I hope to bring more presence, understanding, and genuine connection into our lives.
